Puppies have grown so much! They are not loving this wet weather and much prefer the snow but I guess it has been nice not to be shoveling snow yet. I will post their current weights tomorrow. We are so very excited to prepare them all this week and a few next week for being welcomed into their forever homes. We are working very hard on sitting when they greet us and always have a training session before each meal. They have mastered the doggie door and are doing almost all potties outside…but truly hate wet feet so the rain has set us back a bit. Crate time is going very well twice each day for about 2-2 1/2 hours each time. We have enjoyed our time with each one so very much and look forward to meeting you all soon. With the busyness of the week we did not do individual pictures so lost of action shots this time.

What a full, fun week we have had with these puppies! We are so happy with how they are all developing and loving seeing all their fun personalities emerge. Puppies are loving to get to explore new areas. They are doing well in crates and we will gradually work keep getting the time in there a bit longer until we reach about 2 1/2 hours twice each day but the time they go home. Most potties are being done outside which really gets us excited. We are working with the puppies to sit when they great us. We do a training session before each meal when they are most motivated. They have had time with our big girls and really love how calm Aggie is with them. The vet comes for full exams of each puppy and to give them their vaccines later today so everyone will be very tired the rest of the day. Enjoy all the puppy pictures below.

What a fun week this has been! Puppies have transitioned to 3 feedings daily of Life's Abundance Lamb & Brown Rice formula and are doing very well with that. Puppies have had their first few times outside and enjoyed getting to explore all the new sights and sounds. Puppy picking is has started and we are so excited for each puppy and family to have made that decision. Puppies are enjoying new toys daily to play with. This week ahead will be another busy one. Puppies will start having time in crates. We start very slowly and build up their time daily until they go home to be about 2 hours twice daily. Puppies are using their puppy pads for lots of their potties and will begin to be brought outside to introduce them to using the outdoors for going to the bathroom. We will work on resource guarding by putting our hands in their food at times while they are eating and gently pet them to help them recognize this as an acceptable thing. Puppies will be introduced to more spaces away from their siblings and we will continue to play the sound CD to help to desensitize them to things like fireworks, sirens, baby's crying, and much more. We will create little challenges to help them to problem solve and continue to develop.
