What a fun week this has been! Puppies have transitioned to 3 feedings daily of Life's Abundance Lamb & Brown Rice formula and are doing very well with that. Puppies have had their first few times outside and enjoyed getting to explore all the new sights and sounds. Puppy picking is has started and we are so excited for each puppy and family to have made that decision. Puppies are enjoying new toys daily to play with. This week ahead will be another busy one. Puppies will start having time in crates. We start very slowly and build up their time daily until they go home to be about 2 hours twice daily. Puppies are using their puppy pads for lots of their potties and will begin to be brought outside to introduce them to using the outdoors for going to the bathroom. We will work on resource guarding by putting our hands in their food at times while they are eating and gently pet them to help them recognize this as an acceptable thing. Puppies will be introduced to more spaces away from their siblings and we will continue to play the sound CD to help to desensitize them to things like fireworks, sirens, baby's crying, and much more. We will create little challenges to help them to problem solve and continue to develop.

What a fun week this has been!
Puppies are fully coming into their personalities and enjoy time with us so much! They are wagging their tails and starting to come when we use the "puppy" call. Teeth are mostly in so the introduction of soft food has gone really well. We start slow and this week will continue to add a feeding every few days until we are feeding them 3 times daily by the end of the week. Uecker is doing very well and starting to feed less with all the sharp teeth coming at her. She is an amazing mama that has passed on such love, gentleness, easy going nature, and dedication to her puppies. Her personality as well as Wrigley's have truly produced wonderful results in this group of puppies that we are already noticing. They love snuggling and have a fun playful side. They seem very confident and are doing so well as we work on startle response with loud noises as well and being introduced to new people daily. This week we will continue to perform ENS time. We will start to give Uecker longer breaks from her of up to several hours to help in the weaning process. Puppies will have time aways from siblings to explore and learn how to be separate from one another. We will introduce them to crates with open doors to help them become familiar with what a crate looks and feels like. New objects will be introduced several times each day to help in the learning process. We will also work daily with using the word "puppy" to call them. They will also be introduced to some of our other mamas to learn that they can trust other dogs.

Puppies are becoming so interactive and fun! They have more times of being awake and are starting to play with each other. They got new collars to accommodate their speedy growth. Puppies were dewormed last weeks and will be dewormed again every other week until they go home and are then old enough to take once monthly prevention. Puppies can now see and hear more clearly so work to introduce them to new objects and sounds daily while not pushing them too quickly. We will introduce new toys daily for them to explore. We will also work on startle response by make loud noises while also playing a sound track that introduces them to new sounds that get them familiar to sounds like sirens, fireworks, doorbells, babies crying, vehicle noise and much more. We will continue to have new people over to help them become familiar with many different voices, sizes, and to provide new interactions with humans for each puppy. Puppies have started moving away from the group to go potty on the potty areas which is always a very exciting time for us! We will start to take puppies out for a few minutes at a time from their siblings to explore without their buddies. While this week is a full one we love all the fun interactions. We also look forward to starting them on soft food at the end of the week and the weaning process slowly begins. So many fun things happening in their world!

Puppies are moving around more as their eyes are opening a bit more each day and they are beginning to better see the world around them as their eyes continue to develop. They are moving around more and starting to stand a bit with very wobbly legs. By the end of the week we will transition them out of the pool and create a bigger space to explore while introducing a potty area. We continue to introduce new gentle helpers and enjoy our intentional ENS time twice daily with other visits to help them become familiar with new things. They do not hear at this point but within this week they will begin to startle with noise as their ears will start to open. Truly such an amazing process that we feel so blessed to be a part of.

Puppies eyes have opened and they tons so fun to see how different they start to look as they open more fully. Their ears will not open for another week and they can’t see well but are able to start to get their first few glimpses of the outside world. We continue to perform END time daily and have incorporated extra gentle helpers several times this week to help with that. We introduce puppies to new people eta h week to get them used to different people to help in the socialization process. Uecker continues to do so well feeding everyone and gently caring for all their needs. She has been enjoying lots of walks, belly rubs and extra food to keep her at her healthiest. She truly doesn’t even look like she had puppies until you see her full milk belly🐾

Puppies turned 1 week old yesterday and we couldn’t be more pleased with how well they are all growing and developing. Uecker continues to be such an amazing mama! She is doing so well and she hardly acts like she has been nursing 14 puppies. She loves to be out and go for walks and explore but usually chooses to not be away from her puppies for very long. She is eating about 5 times her normal amount of food and also gets calcium added to her food for 3 feeding to help keep up the demand on her. We are also supporting her nutrition with probiotics and NuVet vitamins to keep her healthy and pass on the best nutrition for all the development going on in each puppy. We continue to do our ENS time daily with each puppy and love every minute of it. Hope you enjoy meeting each puppy and seeing how much they weigh.

Each puppy is doing so well and growing right before our eyes. We are enjoying them so very much and absolutely love our intentional time performing ENS daily. If you don't know already, we follow the "Puppy Culture Method '' while the puppies are in our home to give each one the best start to life and promote the most positive development. The ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) will be performed 1-2 times a day for the next 3 weeks to help each puppy learn positive touch with young and old while helping to also develop a strong immune system, cardiovascular system, and good stress tolerance. So great that getting to snuggle puppies helps in their development!

Crazy how pictures of Uecker yesterday we had sunshine and green grass…24 hours later cold and snow on the ground. Snuggling puppies sure warms a person up. We are in love with this litter. Uecker is such an amazing Mama and keeping up well with. She loved seeing the snow this morning and eating it. Today we started our daily puppy stimulations which are some of our favorite times with puppies. The adventure has begun and we are loving every step of it.

Uecker surprised us with 2 more puppies last night when we thought we were all done. So we have 14 gorgeous puppies 9 females and 5 males. 1 female & 2 males are Parti tri color and the rest are all the tradition tri color. All are gaining weight and doing very well. Uecker is such an amazing mother that is extremely gentle and caring of all her babies. She is keeping up with feeding all of them but we will cycle puppies several times daily to ensure everyone is getting enough to eat and supplement with goats milk as needed. Our vet will come in the next few days to remove rear dew claws and check each puppy as well as check on Ueacker. We are so blessed to have a vet so close that does house calls for our puppies.

So excited to announce the arrival of 12 beautiful puppies. They are all tri color and 2 are Parti tri color. Absolutely beautiful and all doing very well! Uecker is the best mama and also doing very well. She is so gentle and attentive to each one. Lots of photos to come but here are a few for now🐾

We are so excited to be at this point with just a few days until puppies. Uecker is doing very well and even with her big belly she is still up for a walk. Her family had to say goodbye for now but will be able to come visit her very soon. She is so lucky to have so many to love her during her pregnancy and all that love is so good for each puppies development. Uecker is truly the most adaptable, loving dog I know. She has settled in like she lived here her entire life accepting love from anyone willing to give it. I will update as soon as puppies arrive.

Uecker has really popped in the last few days! Her family said that she has been so very cute and cuddly lately. Even more so than usual! She does seem to be sneaking more naps in and her belly has gotten so big! I’m sure the beautiful weather has been welcomed by Uecker but as you can see in every picture she is still panting…14 days and counting☺️

We are getting all prepped and ready for puppies. The birthing area is all set up and ready for the weeks that are to come. Uecker is doing very well this week loving all the extra attention from her family. She has had a food increase to keep up with the rapid growth of puppies inside her. Uecker has been glued to her family which is so very typical of pregnancy in dogs at this stage possible. She desires close touch of all her humans most of the day. She is such a lucky girl to have a family home so much to love on her. She is still active and loves to go on all of the family walks and bike rides daily with her humans. Her family also said when she is in the house she is either sleeping at their feet or full on leaning on them. Touch and belly rubs are so important to puppy development throughout the process and this litter is blessed to have many kiddos to help in that process giving so much love to Uecker🐾

We are so excited to announce, Uecker had her ultrasound today and she was confirmed to be pregnant. Our vet counted 11 puppies but thinks there may possibly be more. We plan to have an X-ray a few days before delivery to determine how many as it is more accurate at that point. She is doing so well and in great shape which is so important during the growth of her puppies. She is being fed premium nutrition (Life’s Abundance dog food as well as daily NuVet vitamins). To keep her in the best health. She is well loved by her human family and gets tons of attention which is perfect for puppy growth and development in utero. She is so very sweet, kind, and smart and we are so very excited to welcome her puppies in less than 30 days.
