Stella's Medium F1 Bernedoodle Blog Stella is due November 4th for puppies to go home December 28th
Stella is showing more signs of getting closer to puppies. As you can see she is working hard nesting. It is very normal as the days get closer for dogs to start to prepare a “den” so her nose and paws are often full of sand and clay. Little does she know we will have a warm, clean whelping area all ready when the time comes.
Stella has just a little under 3 weeks to go. She is doing very well and choosing her soft, warm bed more often these days as she is starting to get a bit more tired. She loves to be by my side as much as possible making pictures more difficult to take as she I’m too far from her 🤣. Her belly is growing and it is so fun to watch the changes of puppy growth.
Stella is eager to show her belly to anyone who will pet it these days! She is happiest by my side on the patio, working in the garden, or on our daily hike through the woods. She is doing very well and starting to show her puppies growth. She is half way through her pregnancy and doing very well. She absolutely love the fall weather! So excited to see her sweet nature shine through in her puppies.
Stella’s ultrasound picture was sent by the vet yesterday so I was excited to share! She still enjoys our hikes in the woods even with all the rain we have been having. We are looking forward to better weather next week. Stella’s favorite places these days are on anything soft. She joined me in the basement for a project and she slept on her pillow for several hours but never left me 😉. She is such a sweet, loyal girl!
Stella had a positive ultrasound today and a check up that showed her to be in great health. She is day 28 of pregnancy and doing very well. She is most happy to be with us and has been a bit more sleepy. The vet counted 7 puppies but each past ultrasound on our mamas has proven to be low on their counts as the puppies are so small at this stage so some get missed. We are so very excited to see Stella’s first litter and see her sweet nature transfers into the mothering of her puppies.
