So great to meet Al our puppies families and feel all the love they already have for them. We miss them already but are so happy for each one to start their adventure with their new family. Looking forward to updates.
Sadly, this is our final Monday blog together. Puppies are getting so ready to meet their new families as they are at the point where they desire more 1 on 1 attention. Stella has been such a patient, nurturing mother but she too is ready to see them fly. We continue to have them sit to greet us. Before all 3 meals we use their food motivation to our advantage, and do a training session for about five minutes prior to feeding them. They are all doing very well to sit on command. We also wait to pet them until they are sitting nicely so as not to encourage jumping. They are all doing very well with their crate time twice daily for 2 1/2 hours each time. All potties during the day have been done outside for the last several days, and on their potty spot totally at night 🥳. We could not be more happy with where they are all at in this process. We will miss each one very much!!

Happy Monday!
Puppies are enjoying playing with each other, chewing on their bully sticks, movie night with our family, a ride in our van, lots of outside playtime, nap time in crates 2 hours twice each day, most all potties outside, and growing so very quickly! We have had more visitors to expose puppies to children and different adults. We are enjoying them so very much and can’t believe they are over 6 weeks old already!

Puppies are growing like weeds and becoming so much fun as they interact with us and each other so much. Their teeth are very sharp so lots of redirecting is done to help them to chew on appropriate things such as toys and bones. We are starting to work with them to sit when they greet us and they are spending time daily in their crate with 1 sibling and the door shut. We continue to introduce new objects intro their space, allow time to play with our adult dogs, and bring them in new environments to acclimate them to new things. They are enjoying the bully sticks and porky puffs to help in their teething process. Puppies are enjoying lots of outside time as our weather has been very warm. They are using the doggie door and mostly going potty outside during the day. So many fun things happing this week!

Happy Monday!
4 more puppies have been chosen🥳. Green is now Jackson, Blue is Banjo, Lime is Jax and Light blue is Moose.
Puppies are all growing quickly as you will see below.
This will be a fun filled week! We will start to give Stella more time away from puppies to start the weaning process. Puppies have transitioned to 2 soft food feedings and will be up to 3 by the end of the week. New objects are introduced daily as well as a variety of toys. Our other Mamas will be encouraged to come and visit puppies and we will continue to bring puppies out to be away from their siblings for short periods. We also work on an excited “YES” when puppies sit or come to reinforce good manners. Puppy picking is still in progress and it has been fun to start to work on the puppies that have been given names.

Happy Monday!
We are so excited to say the puppy picking has begun. Yellow is now Emmy and purple is Tilly🥳
So many changes as puppies are growing quickly. They can now see and hear and have become very mobile in just the last few days since coming out of the pool. We have started to introduce toys into the puppies area that we change out often. We also play a CD with many noises that can startle dogs down the road that have not encountered them such at fireworks, door bells, sirens, a baby crying, cat noises, dog barking and many more. This will progressively get played louder for short periods during their days. They have a potty area that they are already starting to gravitate to when going potty. We continue to have friends over who help in puppy cares as well as doing much handling and snuggling of puppies. We also have begun to separate puppies from there sibling for short periods a few times each week. They are now eating 2 very soft food meals daily and continue to nurse from Stella several times each day also. So many fun things ahead.

Happy Monday!
Puppies and Mama are all doing. They seem to grow and change before our eyes. They all have their eyes open but the first few pictures of them being open they often have a glazed over look and blue tint. While this is complete normal this early all their eyes will change to be brown. We still continue to enjoy our ENS time daily and have had several extra helpers this week to socialize them. They are sitting up a bit more and taking more wobbly steps each day. They will be moved out of the pool and into the larger space in the next week to allow for them to explore more, start to use a potty area, and also allow Stella extra space. Ears will open in the next week helping to make puppies far more aware of their surroundings. Puppies were dewormed a few days ago, had nails clipped again, and collars adjusted again as they are growing so fast.

We have all fallen in love with this bunch of puppies! Everyone is growing and changing by the day. Puppies all got a new collar and it has already needed to be loosened with their rapid growth. Nails have been clipped again and extra gentle helpers come often to help us socialize the puppies. Eyes will start to open very gradually starting around day 11. They open them very slightly for very short amounts of time and each day they become a bit more alert and aware of their surroundings. This week we continue to do ENS daily along with short snuggle time away from siblings and we are enjoying every minute of it! Enjoy the puppy pictures below.

Happy Monday!
Puppies are all growing and doing very well. They were seen at our home today by our vet to remove dew claws and everyone did very well. Each puppy has made weight gains from birth, I will post their birth order and current weights below. I have a correction to the colors. The only two tricolors are male puppies the rest are all brindle. One female was very dark at birth but after she tried off she is also brindle. What a fun Super Bowl we had getting to snuggle puppies while watching the game. We start our ENS time tomorrow which is where we perform 5 different sensory stimulations with each puppy daily. This is a process that is part of the “Puppy Culture Method” that introduces mild stresses to the puppies in a controlled way. These stresses help stimulate the neurological system which improves the growth and development of the pup's immune system, cardiovascular system, and stress tolerance. We enjoy the fun of this very specific handling with each puppy daily.
Here is the birth order and weights from today:
#1 Dark Blue boy: tri color 1 lb
#2 Pink girl: brindle 1 lb
#3 Dark green boy tri color 1 lb 2 oz
#4 Red boy brindle 1 lb 1 oz
#5.Lime green boy brindle 15.9 oz
#6 Purple girl brindle 1 lb 1 oz
#7 Orange boy brindle 1 lb 1 oz
# 8 Yellow girl brindle 1 lb 1 oz
#9 Light blue boy bridle 1 lb 2 oz
# 10 Gray boy brindle 1 lb 1 oz

So very excited for the days ahead! Our puppy area is all set up in our family room and ready for puppies. Stella had an X-ray today and they counted 8 puppies on one picture and 9 on another so time will tell🤗. All is well with her and she is most happy being loved on by anyone who will snuggle her. She still loves getting out to run in the woods or go for a walk which is amazing as close as she is to her due date.
Stella is doing very well and got her belly clipped today to prep for her X-ray next Thursday and puppies soon after. Having less hair in her belly will help puppies have an easier time finding milk and gives us a better visual to assess Stella for signs of mastitis. She is getting pretty warm these days so it also will help keep her cooler to have a bit less hair. Her walking harness still fits but it sure ales her belly look even bigger. Only 12 days until her due date…so much fun to come!
Stella is doing very well and loving still being active and going for hikes in the woods. She gets pretty warm inside with our wood stove with the extra weight she is carrying, but she enjoys all the extra snuggles for sure. Her belly is filling out and puppy movement continues to be the fun part of the process for us! Hard to believe we are just 3 weeks from the puppies due date🤗
Stella is growing quickly and enjoying getting spoiled by all of us. We are starting to feel puppy movement which is always so much fun for us in this process. She still loves being active outside snow but takes lots of extra naps during the day.
Welcome to the journey! We are so excited to start this adventure with as Stella continues to grow and welcomes her puppies in the next weeks. She is doing very well and absolutely loves all the snow we have been getting. She always loves belly rubs but even more when pregnant so we are sure to give them in abundance. She also loves our walks in the woods. Hope you enjoy getting to see her in her environment.
