Sadly this is our last post as our last puppy goes home today😢. My niece and I had quite the adventure yesterday meeting families in Midway for their delivery. So much fun giving baths and extra snuggles before they are welcomed into your arms. Such great families and so much love makes our hearts overjoyed. Be sure to reach out as questions arise. Wishing you all the best!
Happy New Year 🎈 legend will meet his forever family today while all but Kelvin will be prepped to meet their families tomorrow. Such bitter sweet times for us! They are all very ready however to be in a family of their own and start to bond and learn all you have to teach them. Such a blessing to walk this journey with all of you!
Puppies are loving getting even more snow today after the rain we have had. It seems a bit quiet with 3 puppies gone but everyone has adjusted well. I can’t even believe their time with us is so close to being done. We look forward to meeting you all very soon!
Lola was welcomed into her forever home yesterday and is doing very well! We have had lots of rain and the puppies surprisingly love the rain...all the rest of us and not liking it one bit 😩. Puppies are doing well with clicker work on come and sit and name recognition. We continue to work with them around their food and they are doing very well.
To help puppies have more time to bond with school and work schedules, Sunny (Yellow) & Macy (Fuchsia) were welcomed home by their forever families. We feel so blessed to meet such amazing families along this journey and are so happy both puppies have such wonderful living homes. Each puppy did so very well with minimal crying and Macy made it through the night without getting up 🎉. Weights were taken today but I had to guess on sunny and fuchsias as I forgot to take them yesterday. Lola got her bath as she will be going home today. The rest of the puppies say their goodbyes starting this coming Thursday. They are all doing very well with no accidents inside during the day over the past several days. And all potties on their paper at night 🎉 So much growth and progress being made.
We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with family! Puppies are enjoying all our extended family visits and snuggles. They are still growing like weeds and getting harder for the kids to hold. Weights will be taken again in the next few days but they are about 12 lbs now give or take.
Merry Christmas!
Wishing all our families a very blessed day!
What beautiful weather we have been having! The puppies love the freedom to go in and out as well as have more time to play outside. They enjoy all the visits from family coming for Christmas as well as our big girls. They have started to all sleep on a blanket together which has been so cute to see. The dog palace has finally been shoveled out and they love going inside to play especially when my kids sit in there with them. They are becoming such beautiful puppies and are all making the transition to desiring more human time which is perfect as they transition soon to your homes.
Puppies have successfully mastered the doggie door! This give them more time outside as the days have been much warmer. They are all doing so well going potty outside and on their inside area when not able to get outside. Aggie has completely weaned from nursing them and they are completely on solid food. They still enjoy visits from Mama and all the other girls. They LOVE their bully stick bones and are all learning to sit when greeting me and as I feed them. They are doing very well with name recognition also. They are a very smart bunch and will do so well to continue to learn as they are welcomed into your home. They have all done so well with the clicker that I plan to send them all home with one. I hope to have time with each family to show you how to train using the clicker and continue the work that has been done. Make sure to have plenty of chew options, bones, and healthy small treats to have in hand when welcoming them home. Everyone has their pick up date scheduled so let’s keep our fingers crossed for good weather over that time.
So much is changing everyday! Puppies have completely been on hard Life’s Abundace dog food and doing very well. They are enjoying the snow and the warmer temps today. They also got an extra day this week with Weston and Bryer as they were both not feeling well so lots of snuggles helped everyone feel better. Work counties to be done touching their food and even taking it away as well as with bones to help them get used to people around their food. Nails were trimmed again today and dewormer given. So very hard to believe they will be 6 weeks old tomorrow! I feel they are growing by the second and changing so much.
Today, Bryer got up early to help with puppy chores! He had fun getting extra snuggles. I have been bad at taking pictures while the boys are in with the puppies. Today Bryer helped work more with reducing food dominance by playing with their food while they ate. It helps to decrease the puppies stress to humans by their food as now they don't care at all and they will become very used to having us in their space while they eat. More work was done on individual time in the kennel alone as well as outside their space by themself with me. Weights were taken as you can see and they have all grown a ton from last week. I included their vaccine type of your vet needs that for their next doses. We enjoyed a ton of time outside as the temps are supposed to drop to well below zero.
All puppies did very well with their vaccines today and microchip placement. Everyone is healthy and doing very well. They all seemed to love the extra attention even if it meant some pokes at the end. They all also had clear stool samples. We do encourage all families to have a stool sample run at your first visit those first days after you get home and start them on their monthly preventative to keep their stool samples clear. Puppies eat everything and this helps prevent issues. Puppies have been a bit more sleepy but are all eating and drinking well. We have continued to work more this week in touching their food while they eat to help them not become food dominant. They are all encouraged to sit when they greet us and are doing well when we call them by name. The tunnel outside today has been the big hit if the day as the temps were much warmer.
Puppies have a new toy, the tunnel! They were all very curious and Betty and Gunnar where the first brave puppies to go through. They are having fun navigating it and coming out the other side. It has been fun to call their name and see them respond to go through. We are getting geared up for their exams and vaccines tomorrow. Again we are so blessed to have a vet that comes to us so we have no stress and in unnecessary exposure to germs.
Everyone is in love with winter here except those of us that do the shoveling. More snow each day that the puppies love to jump in, eat, play hide and seek behind, and roll in. Everyone is doing well with their name recognition or “puppy” call said in a high tone. We are doing a little work with the clicker and hope you all continue that at home as it is such a great tool for training. They LOVE their bully stick bones!! They are eating 3 meals of mostly hard Lifes Abundance dog food and have transitioned very well. Aggie nurse 2-3 times daily but for very short increments. She still needs to check in on them often to make sure they are all doing well 😉. This wee we will do work on food dominance and more time out alone to come and sit when in front of people. This is a skill that needs reinforcement daily so they continue to learn not to jump and as they go home also. They go outside every 2-3 hours to go potty and run off more energy and love to go potty outside🎉. They are so very much fun and getting so big!
Growing is what we do best these days! We are all doing very well pooping outside 🎉. No matter the temp they all seem to prefer going out to potty vs inside. They all play hard and have transitioned to almost solid dog food. They are responsible MtOmg well to “puppy” said with a high pitch as well as to their names. They are an incredible amount of work so again forgive me for the posts being fewer and late. They love their hair from Stella, Penny and Ruby as well as mom.
It sure has been cold yet I am amazed these puppies want to go out when possible to go potty! Macy (Fuschia) was scratching at the door whining this morning with the bitter temps I didn’t want to let them out but she continued so I decided to open the door and she quickly went out and pooped as did several others 🎉. They are all doing very well overnight of going potty on their designated area. I continue to call them by name and ask them to sit when they come up to me. Food this morning was so dented just slightly and I think we will be able to food regular not mashed dog food in the next few days. Aggie is no longer sleeping with them as they are eating enough to not need to nurse at night and helps them to get in a better sleep pattern. She still buses them 2-4 times daily. We have visits from Ruby, Penny, or Stella daily now that are so fun to see their interactions. I introduced the bully stick bones and they LOVE them helping to give them appropriate chew habits.
Another full day so far here with the puppies. Their area has changed and expanded a bit more. Their potty area needed to be bigger now they they are eating more solids, smaller kennels were bright in to acclimate them more to smaller spaces, nails were trimmed, collars where changed as they have grown so much, wts taken, individual work was done with each puppy on name recognition and sitting when coming, crate time individually, And introduction to the clicker. Everyone is doing so well and they are enjoying the changes to their spaces.
Today we are battling another snow storm...ugh! Yet the puppies are all toasty warm and still enjoying every minute of being a puppy. The have started to really take more interest in their toys and play time with each other. The are getting stronger and more coordinated in fact little Greta even jumped off one of the smaller raised beds! I thought it would be fun to list all the puppies names so you can all start picking them out as they are pictured. Sadly Sunny who is usually in a lot of pictures was never looking. I will try to remember to label her another time. We continue to work on name recognition with each of them and having them to sit when they come over to greet us. This will be something we will continue to reinforce the entire time they are with us.
More enrichment opportunities today including 2 visits from family, exploring the doggie door and almost making it outside, new toys, taking each puppy out individually to explore and bond more with people and learn to be confident away from their pack, playtime outside their area several times, 3 meals, and lots of hands on snuggles. They are growing and doing so very well. Hope you are able to spot your puppy 😉. Have a blessed Sunday!
Stella and Penny both came in for a visit today and the puppies enjoyed following each of them around. An obstacle was created to challenge the puppies to find a way to get to their lunch and all were able to climb up and out of their space. This helps them to begin to process through things and learn to deal with frustration appropriately. They got 3 meals today but by dinner they had far less of an appetite, however; Aggie enjoys getting to clean up after they are done. By tomorrow they will fully be on mashed Life’s Abundace food and we will slowly soften it less until they have all their teeth and can eat it normally. We will start to take them each out away from their sibling for short periods time to help them learn to be ok away from their pack and bond more with humans. This also helps to decrease the likelihood of separation anxiety down the road. Overall a great day of learning and growing!
All puppies have now been chosen 🎉. Yellow is now Sunny, purple is Abby, grey is Ava, & blue girl is TBD. So happy for each and every puppy to have such amazing homes! This is the age that gets to be the most labor intensive. I strive for perfection but in order to keep up with the needs of puppies now transitioning to 3 meals, continue to follow age appropriate Puppy Culture and all my other Mamas needs my boat may be less frequent. Please always reach out if you just need a puppy fix or if I’ve been forgetting to send you individual pictures. I will do my best, promise!
More progress happening here as you can see Aggie has made the transition to standing while they eat 🤣. Very normal at this age it allows for her to make a fast break if they are too rough now with teeth. Fuschia has been chosen and is now Macy Belle 🎉.
Puppies got de wormed today and nails trimmed. Lots of hands on from visitors. They even got a visit tonight from big sister Penny. I have never seen so many tails wagging.
Another big morning so far! Puppies just had breakfast and will be having 2 meals today as their bellies did so well on their first meal yesterday. They still received fresh ground venison and goats milk which take a good amount of time to prepare but so worth it. We will start to mix this with soft Abundants Life dog food in the next days. The puppies space is growing and wood chips are added to encourage them to go potty in that space. Aggie enjoyed a morning of snowshoeing with me to reopen their trails. Our boys love before school, after school and before bed snuggles. Today we have a family with much littler kiddos then ours coming to give the puppies more exposure. Loud/startling noises are continued to be introduced to help puppies learn to ignore them and recover after it. They have raised beds in their area now that they all enjoy learning how to climb on and under. The kennel is now open for them to get used to being in that space as well.
Such a big day for the puppies!!! They started their first bites of food. We soften it with goat milk and purée venison and they absolutely LOVED it. They ate every single morsel. They also played in the larger area and were able to explore more toys and under tight spaces. The all made their first steps on the snow as the sun was shining and warmed up their outside play area very nice. Stella even introduced herself and I think they all assumed she was mom😆. She is a gentle, kind girl who does well in making them trust other large dogs. They also came inside for their first bites of food and spent 4 hours with me making our normal house noises (vacuuming, laundry, the occasional dropped item etc.). Everyone is doing very well and all have full belly’s so all they want to do is sleep. Many positive things are going on in their world to help continue their journey to becoming the best dog long term. ❤️
More fun with our toys from today . The life of a puppy 😆
Good morning! Puppies are loving their toys and are becoming so interactive and fun!! They are doing very well with poop on their potty area. Can you spot your puppy if you have picked?
Everyone is growing very well by their weights and activity levels! We had extra kiddos here for snuggles as school was canceled but sadly I got caught up in the fun and didn’t get pictures. Puppies are all recognizing us and loving to spend more time with us. New toys are very welcomed and studied when introduced. Excited to report that more of them are getting off their sleeping area to the potty spot 🎉
Good morning!! We have yet another puppy to be chosen. Green boy is now “Kelvin”🎉. We have friends coming over today for more time handling puppies. I also hope to do weights again to give your their growth. Stella, Penny, and Ruby get to make their introductions next week. And puppies will start on soft food in the next few days now that their teeth have started to pop through. So much going on!😉
Lime boy is now “Legend”. Such a great name!
Lots of snuggles on this snowy day! Toys are being introduced and we loud nooses are being made intentionally and some unintentionally to help puppies learn to rebound well from new things. Exciting news that pink collar girl has found her forever home and is now “Betty”.
Puppies all are enjoying their new space as is Aggie. They have started using their potty area and are taking their first licks of water in their bowl🎉. We got tons of snow and our kiddos and big girls are all living it.
Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family as we did! Our puppies had a big day today, they transitioned to our bigger outdoor space. This gives them more room to move and explore. They now have a potty area thus have already started to use as they try very hard to move far from where they sleep to go potty. Aggie loves having extra room and is able to go in and out more often to get exercise and relief from the constant demand of her puppies. Puppies have now started to show more recognition of all of us and are wagging tails more frequently. They are more desiring of attention from us and we will begin in the next days to introduce toys, water and their first bites of food. We are also very excited to introduce red color is now “River” 🎉.
Happy Thanksgiving!! We are so thankful for so many things, but want to let you know how thankful we are to be a part of this journey with your future puppy. We have family visiting from Colorado and we feel so very blessed to have such a trustworthy dog sitter to help out so we can have special time with them. Hope you have a blessed day with your families!
Good morning!
We hope all our families have a wonderful Thanksgiving! We will have a quieter next few days with family in town so I’m sorry if the posts are less over the next few days.
So thankful for puppies to snuggle!
Today has been so fun to notice the change of puppies starting to desire to come to us and play with each other. The changes seem to happen before our eyes. Lawson noticed everyone he goes in with them that they have just started to walk to him, amazing! We have also been vacuuming near them to get them more used to different noises.
Puppies are enjoying extra snuggles this week as our kids are off all week for Thanksgiving.

Good morning! Hope you have a great Sunday.
Such a great experience today being snuggled by our friends. Learning to feel comfortable with little one is so very important. Everyone did very well!
Happy Saturday! We are excited to have more friends with younger kiddos coming today to give the puppies more hands on exposure to kids smaller then ours.
Puppies were all de wormed today and will be every 2 weeks until they go home. Hard to believe they are 2 weeks old now!! So much change in such a short amount of time. It is so neat to see just this morning their new response to noise and light. Typically when I get up they all stay sleeping but this morning when they heard me and the light was turned on they all woke up and started sitting up and looking around. If your following it along with Puppy Culture we are close to the end of their first stage of development and this week will move into the next. Only 6 more weeks until they are welcomed into your homes.
Everyone is doing very well! Puppies had a big day today taking more steps, having more time outside their normal space, more eyes opening, nails care, along with their normal handling and stimulation. Aggie is loving the snow and cool temps. We are enjoying every snuggle we get!
Each day still brings the 5 neurologic stimulations with each puppy in addition to all the hands on that goes into changing their bedding 5-8 times daily. We take them out individually to sit and snuggle while we watch tv or play games. They are all doing very well with this! They have started sitting for very short amounts of time and eyes are opening up a bit more each day in between lots of naps.
Before school snuggle time! All the puppies eyes have now opened for the first times now it is just very hard to capture with their dark coats. They are starting to sit up and take more normal steps.
More snuggles before bed
The girls all helped with some decorating projects today. They just love when I spend my days outside with them especially in the woods.
They have graduated from needing the noodle, and I heard the first little bark! They are starting to change so fast it almost seems you can sit and watch the change happening.
Eyes have started to open!! It is a slow process so little squints for now are totally normal. Puppies are growing so very fast as you can see from the weights taken today. Noses are starting to turn black as all will eventually do. We have better pictures of all puppies below finally 🎉....so sorry for the mistake with the green puppy he is a boy. As puppies are chosen the name will appear as well or say chosen if no name has been given yet to help keep everyone updated on who is available. Still just have Greta and Gunnar chosen this far.
