We can hardly believe take home is just a few days away! Time with this litter has flown by. Puppies have been enjoying extra time inside with us exploring and getting their first introduction to paws getting washed. Nails have been trimmed again, brushing has been done, time on leashes, work on sit, and lots of visitors over the Thanksgiving holiday. This week puppies will get a full bath, ears cleaned, and lots of final snuggles by our family and friends.

Hugo (orange boy)
Wrigley (Blue boy)
Arlow (Red boy)
Happy Thanksgiving week!
Only 1 1/2 weeks until take home. Still pictures are hard to capture these days with all the fun puppy play and excitement to be with us so fun action shots are what we get. Puppies did so well with their vaccines and microchip placement. Puppies enjoyed playing with a young helper during the visit that took all the stress out of shots and made it fun for them. We have enjoyed new friendly visitors and the puppies will enjoy our puppy sitter who will watch them over Thanksgiving so we can spend time with family. She is a wonderful asset and does such a wonderful job continuing all that we do daily but with a new zest and other gentle friends to bring new sounds, sizes, & voices to the puppies. Puppies all had their nails trimmed over the weekend and did very well. We had fresh snow yesterday that the puppies love. Just as a heads up, we will post a Wednesday video but no blog post Friday with the Holiday.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!

Happy Friday!
Puppies are enjoying all the extra visitors we have had, their attention, new smells and someone new to snuggle. They have really been doing well with their time in crates. Potties are mostly all done outside during the day and on the potty pads/paper at night. Hard to believe how fast our time with these puppies has gone. Puppies will have their vaccines, microchip placement and exams today so it will be a very quiet day following. We will start doing more work on sit this week and name recognition with those that have been named. So many fun things!

All puppies have been chosen. Puppies have been loving the snow and are using the doggie door well to potty and play outside. They have all transitioned to hard dog food and Aggie will be completely weaned by the end of this week. This week will be very busy and will end with their first vaccines on Friday. We are so excited for each puppy as well as their fixture families.

Puppies all got their new colors. Colors are all the same but pink is a more bright link color, brown is more of a tan color, and grey is very light in color. It took a day to get used to so lots of neck scratching the day they got them. Puppies are enjoying their new freedom of going outside to play and potty. They are figuring out the doggie door and have all decided they hate the rain just as much as I do!! On the bright side, they are getting used to getting their paws wiped off with all the wet weather. We had visits from friends, successful time in crates, lots of work on startle response, lots of new toys and obstacles introduced, and so much more. These days are very full but so much fun! Puppies will be dewormed this weekend and nails trimmed. No puppies have yet been chosen but we hope to have the first very soon and I will update the blog as soon as that happens.

We decided to take pictures outside as it was a beautiful day. Getting a still shot of each puppy gets harder as they want so bad to just be with us and run toward us when we try so here is our best attempt😜. They are all doing so well and becoming so uniquely different from each other. This week we will begin the puppy picking process which is the most exciting part of the process aside from take home.

Puppies are becoming so interactive with us and each other. They are enjoying all their toys and even started on bulky stick chew bones from Life's Abundance today. Puppies were introduced to their outside today as it was in the 50s today. We had extra visitors this week, have been practicing startle response with loud noises, and introduce new objects in their area daily. We have also started playing a sound track with noises to help them all get used to sounds like fireworks, sirens, cars, vacuuming, cats and many more. Puppies will get a new , bigger collar this weekend with their rapid growth, but all will keep the same color. Puppies are doing well going potty in their potty area and we look forward to warm weather this week so we can continue to have them outside to start the potty process out there.

Puppies are growing fast and becoming so much fun. They enjoyed some snuggle movie time, are starting to use the indoor potty area, and are wagging their tails! Teeth have popped through so they will start on soft food and start the slow weaning process from Aggie. Coats are starting to get more curly and watching them play with each other is the best.

Aggie and puppies are doing very well. They are now 2 weeks old and were dewormed over the weekend. Puppies had more exposure with extra little helpers that unfortunately I dropped the ball and did not get pictures of. But we exposed them to a new family with 5 kiddos of all ages to help with new sounds and lots of touch. This week will begin working on startle responses. We will continue to perform “ENS” time but will add loud noises to startle the puppies and then give them time to sooth and become familiar with new noises to help them become able to regulate these things. We are enjoying each and every puppy so much!!

Puppies eyes have opened. It is very hard to photograph this as they are so dark but they sure are adorable! Ears will be opening in the next days and puppies will begin to startle with noises so that will begin a new step in our process to introduce them to new sounds at different times to help them become familiar with all different sounds. We have had new helpers to give stimulation time which helps to give puppies a new experience. Time was spent outside in the sun to give them exposure to new smells and temperatures. And they got to meet Ruby our gentle retired Mama. Puppies will be dewormed today and nails have been trimmed yet again to keep Aggie comfortable as growth is so rapid with such good milk and to give the puppies more exposure to having their feet touched.

Puppies were a week old Saturday and are growing by the minute. Collars have been loosened twice as they are growing so fast. Nails have been trimmed and “ENS” Early Neurologic Stimulations are done 1-2 times daily by our family or visitors to help introduce the puppies to new smells. Eyes will start to open on day 11 and ears around the 3 week point. Here are some pictures to help you get to know each of the puppies. We plan to take new pictures of each Monday with their weight so you can continue to watch their growth.

So many fun things happening as puppies grow and start to develop. We have started our sensory stipulations daily, enjoyed movie snuggle time, clipped everyone’s nails, loosened colors as they were already getting tight from rapid growth, spent time in our outside space which gives them new smells and so much more. Eyes are still closed and puppies ears have not opened yet so their sense of smell and touch are what help them find their way to mom and learn about the world around them. We are enjoying every minute of the journey so far!!
Welcome to the world!

Aggie is doing very well and growing more by the day. She has good energy and is enjoying the beautiful weather we have been having. She got the hair on her belly cut to prep for puppies as she has such a full coat. This will make it much easier for her puppies to find her belly to nurse. Aggie will have an X-ray next Monday so I look forward to sharing those pictures next Monday late afternoon.
Aggie is doing very well and growing by the day. She continues to love her belly rubs and time with us and time outdoors. The fall temperatures are her favorite so she is just loving life!
Aggie is doing very well, is loving the mild cool weather, and enjoys each and every belly rub! Her belly has grown a lot this week. While she is still very active she does take lots of extra naps through the day. Kids coming home from school is the highlight to her day as well as hikes on our trails.
Aggie is pregnant🤗.
She was confirmed by an ultrasound today so let the journey begin! This will be Aggie and Newton’s first litter together and we can’t wait to see the beautiful and amazing temperaments this great pair will make. Aggie is enjoying the cooler weather and loves getting to ride along to drop of but even more to pick up the boys from school. Below are past black and white puppies from Aggie and Oscar to give you an idea of the look we are expecting just a bit smaller sized puppies as those pictured are the full standard size😉
